Q: Is buying on-line safe?

A: Yes, we make sure it is safe! We your security and privacy seriously, as we know it is very important. We never store credit/debit card info.

The “s” in “https” stands for secure. Website that use “https” enable data sent between the site and the web browser to be encrypted through the use to TLS (Transport Layer Security). Any information, such as your credit card specifics, can’t be intercepted in plain text form by an external attacker. Check out our address in your browser and find that little padlock symbol to be assured that your connection to our website is secure.

Q: what payment methods are accepted?

A: We accept Cash, Check, and are in the process of working with Square to be able to offer you the option of paying with Credit (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover) and ApplePay. Stay tuned!

Q: How will my order be packaged + shipped?

A: Any and all orders are packaged discreetly in a brown paper padded mailer (that can be recycled!) or a brown cardboard box with the return address reading, “Headland Homestead.” Salve is cushioned and well protected. We rarely ship our hemp flower, but when we do it is vacuum sealed, double bagged, and always includes COA’s and a notice to Law Enforcement stating that the package contains legal hemp.

Q: What shipping methods are available?

A: We currently love supporting the USPS and ship each package out promptly via USPS Priority Mail. The United States Postal Service has deemed hemp and hemp derived products legal to ship. We appreciate this service, but always make sure to remain discreet with our packaging, never including mention of hemp, CBD, or cannabis.

Q: How long will it take for my package to arrive?

A: We have found that USPS Priority Mail generally takes 1-3 days. We ship from zip code 04011 (Brunswick, Maine) - you can enter this zip code on the USPS map to find out how long your order will take to get to your location!

Q: do you offer local pick up?

A: Yes, we do! The owner of Headland Homestead is a WFHM (Work From Home Mama!) and is happy to have a salve order waiting at the farm for you to pickup. This option is available to select at check-out!

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Unfortunately, we only ship within the United States. We know, major bummer, especially for our good friends in Canada. But cannabis laws differ from country to country and we cannot guarantee that shipments of hemp derived products will safely and legally make it through customs outside of the U.S.

Q: How do i track my order?

A: After you place an order you’ll receive a confirmation email that your package has shipped that includes a tracking number!

Q: may i return a product? and how?

A: We would never want you to be unsatisfied with a product we make and pass on to you! Although we put every bit of our trust in the items we create to be effective and beneficial, we also understand that each human body is unique, and that there will come a day when a customer just doesn’t feel that our product is right for them.

So, if for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please reach out to us via email and we will help you process the return and/or refund. We will process these on a case by case basis to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction possible.

Returns and/or refunds are accepted up to 60 days from the date of purchase and for opened or unopened products.
